Californication - Red Hot Chili Peppers

Well, the official TnT tour has completed with our visit to the US of A. As not everyone could make it HK or Stuttgart, we agreed to visit the ¨family¨and catch up with some friends in Dallas and Tampa. We tried our best to eat in a balance manner, but Panera Bread Company in Florida and the West Indian food (DC and Florida) made sure we came back heavier.

Well, America changed a wee bit.

NYC was great for the 4 days before it started to wear thin. We walked by Lehman Brothers on the Sunday night as it was preparing to close without knowing the full scope. I did point out to Tanja that news crews do not hang outside of Investment Banks on Sunday evenings...so something was up! Central Park was excellent, the newer play ¨Wicked¨was also good and we got my cousins Adrian and Denise & Fred to actually meet each other (as they all live in the NYC area).

Washington DC was a great surprise as it was cool to see Mable, Uncle Bertie and Sophia...but the city has been cleaned up alot since my trips in the late 90`s. The weather gods smiled and the city and museums were what we needed.

Dallas was more to meet n chill with Christine, Mark and Master Owen. Weather gods were following us, so ti was a scorcher...plenty of beers, laughs and good food.

Tampa / St Pete was boring on a Monday night, but after running into Foxy, Dylan (gees he is tall), Jackson (great sense of humour), Sara and Master Derrick Javier, Milind, Latrece and Carlos and Ms. Marisol ... I remembered it was the people and SHOPPING that was the focus. Clearwater Beach has changed alot...a bit more corporate...boo

Ft Lauderdale / Miami Beach ...Wicked! Excellent beaches, not so many beautiful people (we were there in the daytime) and meeting up with the Floridian crew ...Uncle Basil, Trudy, Giselle, and Lennox. After some real bumps with the Marriott during the rest of our stay, the final one saved the rest of the locations.

As per the title, I barely got to watch or buy any CSI dvd`s, but I did watch alot of Californication from Showtime.

Mongo like.
